Idaho Business for Education Presents to Teton Valley

Why should businesses be involved in our education system? What is being done on the state level to ensure that our workforce is trained and ready? How does Idaho Business for Education’s (IBE) work on the state level affect Teton Valley? Learn the answers to these questions and much more when Rod Gramer, CEO of the IBE, speaks to valley residents at Teton High School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5. Teton School District 401 School Board Candidate Forum

Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 7 p.m.

The Teton School District Board decides policies and budgets for the district. Come meet the candidates and learn what they want to accomplish if elected. Zone 3 and Zone 4 candidates are up for election. Zone 3 is incumbent Ben Kearsley versus Amy Potter. Zone 4 candidates are incumbent Delwyn Johnson versus Kathleen Haar. The forum will be held at the Driggs Elementary School auditorium. It will be a question and answer format with time left at the end for each candidate to make closing remarks.

Teton High School Academic Awards Banquet

Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.

The top 10% of Teton High School seniors will be recognized during this new event. As we honor these students and their families, we will also recognize each one of the students’ most significant educators. Students and their parents and the educator receive complimentary admission and family and friends can purchase tickets at $45 each to cover the cost of their meal and gratuity. Tickets can be purchased at Teton High School through April 27, 2017.

Tin Cup

Tin Cup Giving Period: May 19 – July 21, 2017

The Tin Cup is an important event for Teton Valley Education Foundation as it covers all of our operating expenses and allows us to continue our work in the community. It also funds many of our programs such as Classroom Grants and New Teacher Welcome Gifts.

Ride and Dine

Ride and Dine is our largest fundraiser that directly benefits our schools. Stay tuned to find out where the stops are this year. Tickets are $80 each or $150 a couple and will go on sale in early September.
