2014 Holiday Ride & Dine and Shop for Schools A Success
December 8, 2014
Thank you to so many community members and organizations for being a part of a two very special holiday fundraisers to support our public schools; Ride and Dine and Shop for Schools.
The 4th Annual Ride and Dine was a great success, in thanks to the support of so many. Ride and Dine is a holiday fundraiser where we visit local restaurants with each restaurant hosting a course. Teton School District bus drivers provided transportation along the way. Special thanks to our gracious hosts who rolled out the red carpet for a successful event; Moose Creek Ranch, Wildwood Room, and Three Peaks Dinner Table. Special thanks to our musical guests, John Haines, Bill Plummer and the Miller Sisters. The fundraiser was a huge success in thanks to our volunteers, participants, restaurants, musicians, contributors for silent and live auction, and our generous Gold Ribbon underwriters Alta Enterprises and Wilkinson Montesano Builders. Special thanks to our MC Steve and Casey Singer and Hal Harrison. A raffle has never been as much fun with Steve Singer throwing down a raffle ticket challenge to Hal’s bus!
Shop for Schools is a day where local businesses come together to donate a portion of sales to Teton Valley Education Foundation and takes place the first Saturday of December. We are grateful to the following businesses that provided a portion of their proceeds on Saturday, December 6th to support our public schools.
